Project Overview

Bechtel completed the Shell Polymers Monaca project (renamed Pennsylvania Chemical) in 2022 which will produce an estimated 1.6 million tonnes of polyethylene pellets a year, to be used by Shell’s customers to create common household goods; consumer and food packaging; as well as industrial and utility products.
