From Bid to Beyond: Nessco’s End-to-End Project Powerplay

At Nessco, we deliver telecom projects with precision and efficiency. From bidding to engineering, procurement, assembly, and testing, every stage is carefully managed to meet technical requirements. Leveraging global resources and expert support, we ensure seamless execution. Explore the nine stages below to see how Nessco partners with clients and EPC contractors—from concept to commissioning and beyond.

  • The bids and proposals team screens prospects and analyzes the requirements of requests for proposals.
  • Initial communication with manufacturers regarding new prospects is initiated.
  • When applicable, the EPC will outsource FEED activities for a telecoms system to establish project budget and high-level documentation for EPC execution.
  • Upon request, Nessco partners with EPC and offers a fee-based service to streamline EPC execution and fund detail design initiatives.
  • During the initial stage of every EPC telecom project, Nessco offers comprehensive detailed design engineering services in various disciplines per project requirements.
  • Sourcing and construction commence at Nessco’s certified facility.
  • Nessco conducts extensive FAT and IFAT (where applicable) at its shop facilities to demonstrate satisfactory system functionality and adherence to design specifications and engineered documents.
  • FATs are witnessed by end user and EPC.
  • Nessco assembles, connects, and integrates system components to meet the design team’s specifications.
  • Assembly takes place in one of the various Business Unit’s locations, with project location for builds following project region and execution center.
  • Nessco procures telecom equipment to meet the specifications identified within the detailed design.
  • Nessco leverages its global supply chain to deliver products at prices meeting or bettering the bid price.
  • Post-FAT assembly by EPC engineering & instrumentation contractor.
  • On occasion, Nessco personnel may be contracted for telecoms construction management and site support.
  • During the final 4–8 weeks of a construction project, Nessco personnel are often engaged to provide onsite commissioning support.
  • Includes members of the project team to ensure the systems function during the conclusion of construction.
  • Last-minute updates to the system may be performed (generally as add-on work).
  • Comprehensive day 2 support (time and materials-based) ensures sustained customer satisfaction and addresses needs beyond initial project resources.
  • Consulting services offered for all projects that Nessco engineers, including startup support and system troubleshooting.
